| Taught hundreds of classes and workshops for commercial horticultural
and pest management professionals in northeast Florida. |
| Presented over 25 horticulture/pest management presentations
to regional and statewide audiences at professional meetings and workshops. |
| Wrote horticulture/pest management articles for newsletters and professional publications. |
| Cooperated with University of Florida staff and specialists
in developing computer software based information database on mole crickets. |
| Served as an advisory member of the Board of Directors
of the Florida Turfgrass Association, 1978 - 2001. |
| Appointed an advisory member of the Board of Directors
of the North Florida Golf Course Superintendents Chapter, 1980 - 2003. |

| Member of the Fair Association since 1984 and an Advisory Member of the Broad of Directors since 1997-2004.
Coordinated all agricultural activities at the Fair since 1998. |
| Was a leader in development of the Master Gardener program
that is a highly successful volunteer program within the Duval County Extension Service.
Private citizens are trained in horticulture
and then return 50 hours of volunteer service per year to the citizens of Duval County. |
| Has given hundreds of talks to garden clubs, civic groups and home owner associations. |
| Was involved in developing the Challenger Division Little League for handicapped youth in Jacksonville. |
| Wrote gardening articles for the Florida Times Union from 1982 to 1996. |
| Wrote over 300 newsletter and magazine articles for northeast Florida gardeners. |
| Served on the Jacksonville Landscape Commission since 1998-2004. |
